The site compares over a million prices from high street names, smaller specialist

Speaking at its launch, Eighteen72's owner, Wayne Price said, "I hope the UK
internet population will agree with me, that the site's Search Engine works well and
always displays the cheapest price in the UK for a product."

Speaking on the Search Engines results, Mr Price added, "Every four hours, we review
the searches undertaken. We examine, if the searchers got the results they wanted,
we'll tweak the formula there and then to make sure the user satisfaction of results
percentage is getting higher and higher by the day.It makes business sense to gain
repeat custom again and again."
